History of the Lincoln Jaycees
In your hands lies the destiny of a great organization. Let us build it to national recognition. Let us organize it in the interest of young men for a greater America. Let us not fail in this task.

Since 1920, the Junior Chamber has been exploding into the lives of young people between the ages of 21 - 40 giving them the opportunity to better themselves with leadership skills through community service.  As a result, the Lincoln Jaycees have been making a difference in Lincoln and across the state of Nebraska.  Now, the focus is on rekindling the flames of volunteerism in Lincoln starting with people just like you.  What do you stand to gain by joining?

Opportunities
Creating an atmosphere for change requires drive and determination.  Jaycees helped establish commercial aviation in America, raised millions of dollars for causes such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Mission Inn, and have built parks and hospitals, all the while conducting service and support programs in thousands of communities.  Joining the Lincoln Jaycees  means opportunities to make a difference in others and in yourself!
 
State Programs
The Nebraska Junior Chamber has several state programs involving people to advance their entrepreneurial and career skills, teach children about gun safety and sportsmanship through competition, recognizing the rising stars in the field of agribusiness, recognizing the nation's best in every field of endeavor, teaching children baseball skills through competition, participating in the NFL's Punt Pass and Kick program, and raising funds for a facility (Mission Inn) for children affected by HIV/AIDS that was established by the U.S. Jaycees.
