The Lincoln Jaycee Women began in 1947. Each organization had their own chapter structure in service to the community. After a US Jaycees Bylaws change to allow women, the Lincoln Jaycees and Lincoln Women Jaycees merged in 1985. From 1926-1998 the electoral year and fiscal year ran from April through March and changed to the calendar year on January 1, 1999.
